We always welcome help!  Here are a few ways to get involved with WFAR whether you live

locally or afar:

  • Deliver flyers to local businesses, post at high-traffic locations (Super Markets, etc.) and hand out to the general public.

  • “Like” and Share our Facebook and other Social Media posts.

  • Go to/contact local businesses for silent auction items.

  • Make centerpieces & decorations for WFAR fundraiser display tables.

  • Apply to become an approved vendor at one of our fundraising events.

  • Become a day-of event helper:  Helping with Silent Auction, kids activities etc.

  • Offer Autism-focused special event activities…i.e. Therapy animals, magician, face painter, etc.

  • AND, of course, You Can Donate…Your Dollars & Your Auction Items!

1.  Monetary Donation!

2.  Donate to WFAR Event Operational Costs!
No operational or event expenses are ever deducted from the donations we receive.  All costs are either covered completely by us personally or through the generous donations of supporters.

The following are areas in which we would greatly appreciate your tax-deductible donations:

  • Printing of WFAR flyers.

  • Items/ flowers for display table centerpieces at event.

  • T-shirts to sell at WFAR fundraiser (all sales go to ASNC).

  • Help pay for our live band at WFAR Fundraiser . (this is one of our single largest costs)

3.  Donate Items for Silent Auction!
Our silent auction held each year at WFAR helps generate a good portion of our donations to the ASNC.  100% of the silent auction proceeds go to the ASNC and are tax deductible.  We are always looking for donation items, and we ask that people help pass along to others who may have items to donate.

There are really no guidelines for auction items… from art, handmade items, gift baskets to vacation packages… we are grateful for each auction item we receive.

NOTE:  This year’s cut-off date to receive auction items is April 20, 2020.  So…please contact us if you have an auction item to donate.  You DO NOT need to live locally to donate items for our auction.  As long as you don't mind shipping the item, we will accept items from all over.

However You Choose to Get Involved—Volunteering, Donating or Both--Thank You!
